In Hinduism, the Tulsi plant is highly sacred and is considered a form of Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. Worshipping Tulsi is believed to bring financial prosperity and remove obstacles from life.
However, there are specific rules regarding Tulsi, and one of the most important is that it should not be touched at certain times.
According to Vastu Shastra and astrology, Tulsi should not be touched in the evening, on Ekadashi, Sundays, or during lunar and solar eclipses.
It is believed that during these times, divine energies rest, and disturbing the plant may bring misfortune. Water should also not be offered to Tulsi on Sundays as it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and Tulsi Mata observes rest.
Additionally, Tulsi should never be touched with unclean hands, as it is considered disrespectful and can anger Goddess Lakshmi. Following these guidelines ensures blessings, prosperity, and harmony in life.
Always remember to worship Tulsi Mata with devotion and purity to receive her divine grace.
