In a unique initiative, Noida has received 31,000 litres of sacred Sangam water from Prayagraj, transported via fire tenders. This effort, directed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aims to bring the spiritual essence of the Mahakumbh to those unable to visit Prayagraj.

The first batch of 10,000 litres arrived in Sector 52, where residents eagerly collected the water. The Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Association (FONRWA) managed the distribution, ensuring accessibility for all. Fire tenders, previously deployed at the Mahakumbh, are facilitating the transport, with additional deliveries expected in the coming days.

Authorities, including MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, participated in rituals before distribution. The initiative will extend to Central Noida and Greater Noida, ensuring widespread access. Residents have welcomed this effort, grateful for the opportunity to partake in the spiritual significance of the Mahakumbh without traveling to Prayagraj.
