How Canada's Election Could Change Everything by Tomorrow!

Canadians head to the polls on Monday, April 28, in a high-stakes federal election that could reshape the nation's political future. Liberal Prime Minister Mark Carney, who succeeded Justin Trudeau after his surprise resignation, faces Conservative challenger Pierre Poilievre, whose “Canada First” message has resonated with voters seeking change.

Polls show a tight race, with a narrow 4-point gap separating the two major parties. Carney's promises of deficit reduction and tax cuts for first-time homebuyers clash with Poilievre's pledges to slash taxes and repeal the carbon tax.

If Carney fails to secure a mandate, he risks becoming the shortest-serving Prime Minister in Canadian history. With 28 million registered voters across 343 ridings and results staggered across six time zones, Monday night is set to be a political thriller.

Key battlegrounds like British Columbia could decide the final outcome in this cliffhanger election.
