On May 2, 2025, Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district received a chilling bomb threat targeting multiple locations, including government offices and public places.
The threat was conveyed through an email, which prompted immediate action from local authorities. The Kullu District Disaster Management Authority, along with police and security personnel, have been put on high alert to ensure public safety.
This incident follows a series of similar threats received across the state in recent months, including Chamba, Hamirpur, and Mandi. Last month, bomb threat emails disrupted work in several districts, leading to evacuations and thorough searches.
The authorities have been quick to act, deploying sniffer dogs and conducting extensive investigations, though no explosives have been found so far.
As the situation unfolds, the public remains on edge, with law enforcement intensifying their vigilance across sensitive locations in the region.
