On Christmas 2024, filmmaker Karan Johar revealed that Kartik Aaryan will star in a new romantic comedy titled Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri under the Dharma Productions banner. This marks an exciting collaboration between Johar and Aaryan, and reports suggest that Aaryan will earn a substantial Rs 50 crore for his role. The film is said to have a budget of Rs 150 crore, positioning it as one of the most ambitious romantic comedies in recent years.
Aaryan's rising market value, thanks to the successes of Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has cemented his place among Bollywood’s Image Source:- Pearl Entertainment highest-paid stars. His Rs 50 crore paycheck reflects his increasing popularity and influence. The film's grand scale and impressive budget are highlighted by sources like Bollywood Hungama, making it a major project in the romantic comedy genre.
The official announcement video, released on December 25, 2024, introduced Aaryan’s character, Ray, who humorously reflects on the failures of his past relationships, promising that his fourth will be different. The lighthearted tone of the video sets the stage for an engaging love story.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously worked with Aaryan on Satyaprem Ki Katha, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. It is slated for release in 2026. Fans are excited to see the creative partnership between Johar and Aaryan, especially after their earlier project Dostana 2 was shelved.
