A 65-year-old man from Muzaffarnagar has captured the hearts of millions online, being hailed as the modern-day Shravan Kumar after embarking on a remarkable journey with his 92-year-old mother. Chaudhary Sudesh Pal Malik set out on a bullock cart, pulling the cart himself, to take his mother to the Maha Kumbh Mela for a holy dip.

What makes this story particularly touching is not only the physical challenge Sudesh faces but the deep bond he shares with his mother. Despite suffering from knee damage 25 years ago, which made walking extremely difficult for him, Sudesh's determination remained unwavering. Thanks to the blessings of his mother, he slowly regained some mobility, and he wanted to show his gratitude in the most meaningful way possible.

The emotional video of the duo, with Sudesh pulling the cart through the crowded streets of the Kumbh Mela, has gone viral. The scene of a son enduring physical pain to fulfill his mother’s spiritual wish has resonated deeply with people around the world, evoking a sense of love and selflessness.

This act of devotion, akin to the story of Shravan Kumar from ancient Indian mythology, has earned Sudesh admiration far beyond his community. His journey symbolizes the timeless bond between a mother and son, and serves as a reminder of the lengths to which a loving child will go to honor and care for a parent. The heartwarming moment has left many viewers moved, underscoring the enduring strength of familial love and devotion in today's world.
