Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has urged Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. Director of National Intelligence, to formally designate Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) as a terrorist group. During high-profile meetings in New Delhi, Singh highlighted SFJ's alleged ties to Pakistan's ISI and its role in separatist activities.
The discussions, also attended by intelligence chiefs from the Five Eyes alliance, underscored growing Indo-U.S. cooperation in counterterrorism and cyber security. While India maintains that SFJ threatens its national security, Washington's stance remains uncertain.
Meanwhile, Gabbard reaffirmed Trump's commitment to tackling Islamist terrorism, hinting at a stronger U.S.-India security collaboration. As intelligence networks tighten, will this demand lead to SFJ's global crackdown, or will diplomatic hurdles stall India's efforts?
