In a bold and calculated move, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting and destroying nine key terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Among them was the Sawai Nala camp, located 30 km from the LoC in the Tangdhar sector, known to be directly linked to the handler of the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 innocent civilians.
The precision strike, executed between 1:05 and 1:30 am, was a joint effort by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and top military officials confirmed the operation was driven by credible intelligence and carefully avoided civilian harm.
Colonel Sofiya Qureshi revealed that Sawai Nala had been a training ground for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), linked to multiple past attacks. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated the strike was aimed at delivering justice and dismantling Pakistan’s long-standing terror infrastructure.
