Schools reopen in several J&K, Punjab towns after the Pahalgam attack!

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Pakistan against further provocation, ceasefire arrangements between India and Pakistan held firm across Jammu & Kashmir and border areas. In his national address, PM Modi clarified that India has only paused retaliatory strikes not ended them and issued a stern warning that nuclear blackmail will not be tolerated. Shortly after this on tuesday morning several schools in Jammu and Kashmir reopened.

Despite the temporary calm, fresh concerns emerged as 10-12 drones were intercepted in Jammu's Samba sector, and explosions were reported in Punjab's Hoshiarpur. These incidents occurred shortly after Modi's address.

Meanwhile, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) from both nations spoke via a hotline for 30 minutes, reaffirming the May 10 truce to halt all military actions.
