The invisible labor why women work more but earn less!

In India, women work hard every day, but much of their work is not seen or paid for. A new survey shows that Indian women spend 201 minutes more per day than men doing household chores. This includes cooking, cleaning, taking care of children, and managing the home. These tasks are important, but they do not get paid for them.

Even though men are starting to help more at home, the difference is still big. Women spend 7.2 hours a day on household work, while men spend only 2.8 hours. This makes it harder for women to study, work outside, or have free time. Many women work a full-time job but still do most of the housework.

The reason for this is tradition. In many families, people believe that women should take care of the home, even if they also have jobs. This means women have double the work a job outside and housework at home.

So, how can this change? Families can share housework, the government can provide better childcare support, and unpaid work should be recognized as real work. Women's efforts should be valued, and their time should be respected.

It's time for a fairer future where both men and women share the work at home!
