Indian cricketer and YouTuber Ravichandran Ashwin has decided not to talk about Chennai Super Kings (CSK) matches on his YouTube channel for the rest of the IPL 2025 season.

This happened after a guest on his show, Prasanna Agoram (a former analyst for RCB and South Africa), said CSK shouldn’t have bought Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad. He said it didn't make sense because CSK already had Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

Fans got angry at that comment, especially because Noor has been amazing this season. He's taken the most wickets in IPL 2025 and is wearing the Purple Cap. In contrast, Ashwin and Jadeja have only 4 wickets in total.

After the backlash, Ashwin's team removed the video and posted a note saying they don't want to create confusion or drama. So, they won't do CSK match previews or reviews anymore this season.

They also said the guest's opinion isn't Ashwin's personal view. CSK is currently struggling in 9th place with just one win. Their next match is against Punjab Kings on April 8.
