Fire breaks out at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College library in Pitampura

A fire broke out today (May 15) at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce in Pitampura. According to the Delhi Fire Service, 11 fire engines were sent to the scene after flames started in the college's library. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

 

In videos from the site, large flames and thick smoke can be seen rising from the building.

 

The fire was brought under control by around 9:40 am. Cooling efforts are still going on to make sure the fire doesn't restart.

 

The cause of the fire is still unknown, and an investigation has been launched to find out what led to the incident. More updates are expected soon.
