The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a postponement of the CA Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) exams for May 2025.
The exams, which were initially scheduled to take place between May 9 and May 14, have been deferred due to security concerns. ICAI has assured candidates that revised dates will be communicated soon, urging them to regularly check the official website, icai.org, for updates.
The CA Foundation exams, however, will proceed as planned on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, with no changes to the schedule.
The CA Final Group I exams took place on May 2, 4, and 6, while Group II was due on May 8, 10, and 13. Similarly, the Intermediate Group I exams were conducted on May 3, 5, and 7, but Group II exams, originally scheduled for May 9, 11, and 14, have been postponed.
The exams are also being held in international cities, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, and several others.
Candidates can write their exams in either Hindi or English, but the International Taxation exam will be in English only. Additionally, the University of Kashmir has postponed all its exams.
