Kangana Ranaut set to scare in Hollywood debut 'Blessed Be the Evil'

Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her Hollywood debut with the horror drama Blessed Be The Evil, produced by Lions Movies.

The film also stars Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf and Scarlet Rose Stallone from Tulsa King. Production will begin this summer in New York, with U.S. locations chosen to avoid disruptions caused by new Trump-era tariffs impacting the film industry.

Directed by Anurag Rudra, who co-wrote the screenplay with Gatha Tiwary, the story follows a Christian couple coping with the trauma of a miscarriage.

Hoping to start over, they move to an abandoned farm only to encounter a dark, supernatural presence. The film dives into powerful themes of grief, love, and faith.

Rudra, who spent his childhood in rural India, drew inspiration from Indian folklore he heard growing up and aims to bring these stories to global audiences through cinema.

Cinematographer Wade Muller is attached as the director of photography. Producer Tiwary noted the film’s international appeal and called it a suspenseful, emotionally rich project ideal for both theatrical and streaming releases.
