1. One application lasts all day? False. Reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating.
2. Higher SPF is always better? Not necessarily. SPF 30 blocks 97% of UV rays; SPF 50 only slightly more.
3. A little sunscreen is enough? No. Use at least one ounce for full-body coverage.
4. Cloudy days mean no sunscreen? False. UV rays penetrate clouds.
5. Sunscreen beats covering up? No. Combine it with hats, sunglasses, and UPF clothing.
