Maruti Suzuki Announces Price Hike of Up to ₹32,500 Across Models – Check New Rates!

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, announced on January 23 that it will increase prices across its model lineup by up to ₹32,500 starting February 1, 2025. The company cited rising input costs and operational expenses as reasons for the hike. While Maruti Suzuki is working to optimize costs and reduce the impact on buyers, it stated that some increased expenses must be passed on to customers.

Among them, the maximum hike is ₹32,500 on the compact car Celerio. Meanwhile, the price hike on premium MPV Invicto is at a maximum of ₹30,000. Another SUV - Brezza, as well as the Grand Vitara - are priced to see an increase by ₹20,000 and ₹25,000, respectively. Entry-level Alto K10, as well as S-Presso, has witnessed hikes in prices of ₹19,500 and ₹5,000.

Maruti Suzuki's bestsellers, Wagon-R and Swift, will go up by ₹13,000 and ₹5,000, respectively. The Baleno will go up by ₹9,000, and the Dzire sedan by ₹10,500. Premium models like Jimny and Ciaz will go up by ₹1,500.

Despite the price increase, Maruti Suzuki is committed to offering value. The company's current range of vehicles ranges from the budget-friendly Alto K10, priced at ₹3.99 lakh, to the luxurious Invicto, starting at ₹28.92 lakh.

This is when Maruti Suzuki is looking to consolidate its position in the SUV and CNG markets as it looks to respond to changing customer preferences. Price hikes are never easy for consumers, but Maruti Suzuki will look to continue offering reliable and innovative vehicles across all segments.

These changes reflect the company's efforts to balance rising costs while ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
