Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times during an early morning burglary attempt at his Bandra residence, raising serious concerns over the safety of high-profile individuals in India. While the 54-year-old actor is recovering after surgery at Lilavati Hospital, the incident has triggered a political storm.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal criticized the BJP-led governments, accusing them of failing to provide basic security. "If a prominent actor living in a highly secure area is attacked, what hope is there for ordinary citizens?" Kejriwal remarked. He also alleged that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, believed to be linked to the attack, is operating fearlessly from Gujarat's Sabarmati jail.

Kejriwal drew parallels to earlier incidents, including the attempted attack on Salman Khan and the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, further questioning the government's ability to curb organized crime. "The BJP's double-engine government is incapable of ensuring security or good governance," he added.

The Mumbai Police have formed 10 special teams to apprehend the accused, who gained access to Saif's residence via the fire escape. Authorities assured that the actor is now out of danger, but the brazen attack has raised alarms nationwide.

Kejriwal also criticized the government's handling of border security, demanding accountability and swift action. He urged the Centre to prioritize public safety over politics.
