Triptii Dimri has officially joined Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film Spirit, starring Prabhas. The announcement was made by Vanga on X, while Triptii shared her excitement on Instagram, calling the opportunity “an honour.”

Triptii’s inclusion comes after reports that Deepika Padukone was dropped due to alleged ‘unprofessional demands’, including time constraints and contract changes. Sources claimed Deepika refused to shoot beyond six hours a day and demanded additional payments for schedule extensions.

This film marks Triptii Dimri’s second collaboration with Vanga after Animal and her first pairing with Prabhas. Backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit will feature Prabhas as a fierce police officer. The film is in pre production and begins shooting in 2025.
