At the 10th NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting held on May 24, 2025, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed three strategic initiatives to accelerate India's development towards the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.

Sub-Group on GDP Growth: Naidu suggested forming a sub-group focused on boosting investments, manufacturing, exports, and job creation. He emphasized the need for central viability gap funding to support public-private partnership (PPP) projects, aiming to stimulate economic growth across states.

Sub-Group on Population Management: Addressing demographic challenges, he proposed a sub-group to help India leverage its demographic advantage while preparing for future issues like aging and low fertility rates. This initiative aims to ensure sustainable population growth and workforce readiness.

Sub-Group on Leveraging AI and Technology: Highlighting the importance of technology in governance, Naidu recommended a sub-group dedicated to integrating artificial intelligence, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for real-time, citizen-centric administration. This move is intended to enhance efficiency and transparency in government operations.

Naidu also presented the "Swarna Andhra @2047" vision, positioning it as a scalable and inclusive model for national development. He reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to leading by example, showcasing how states can drive national transformation through strong, coordinated leadership.

Paying tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, Naidu lauded the armed forces' decisive Operation Sindoor and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during the crisis. He praised transformative reforms like Digital India, GST, Startup India, PM Gati Shakti, and Jal Jeevan Mission, stating that these initiatives have redefined the nation’s development landscape.

Naidu concluded by expressing confidence in India’s trajectory to become the third-largest economy, emphasizing Andhra Pradesh's role in contributing significantly to the national aspiration of Viksit Bharat @2047—a $30 trillion economy marked by high-quality infrastructure, equitable development, and empowered citizens.
