A domestic dispute in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, escalated when Maya Maurya allegedly threatened her husband, Dharmendra Kushwaha, with a gruesome fate similar to the recent "drum murder" in Meerut.
The couple, married since 2016, had been embroiled in conflicts after Maya allegedly developed a relationship with her relative, Neeraj Maurya. Kushwaha claims he caught them in a compromising position in 2024, leading to physical altercations and legal complaints.
During a heated argument on March 29, Maya allegedly warned, "I will get you chopped and packed in a drum like the Meerut massacre."
Meanwhile, Maya accuses her husband of domestic violence and forced abortions. With CCTV footage under review, police are investigating the truth behind these shocking allegations.
