Delhi Metro extends timings for IPL 2025 matches – check the new schedule!

To accommodate the increased commuter traffic during IPL 2025 matches at Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has extended the last train timings across all metro lines on match days — May 18, 20, and 25.

This move ensures cricket fans can return home comfortably after evening games. Trains will now operate up to 90 minutes later than usual from several terminal stations.

Here are the revised last train timings for select metro lines:

1. Line 1 (Red Line):


Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda): extended till 12:10 AM


Rithala: extended till 12:15 AM

2. Line 2 (Yellow Line):


Samaypur Badli: extended till 12:20 AM


Millennium City Centre Gurugram: extended till 11:45 PM

3. Lines 3 & 4 (Blue Line and Branch):


Noida City Centre & Vaishali: extended till 12:00 AM


Dwarka Sector-21 (towards Noida/Vaishali): extended till 11:45 PM

4. Line 5 (Green Line):


Kirti Nagar & Inderlok: trains will run until 1:00 AM


Brig. Hoshiar Singh (towards Inderlok): extended till 12:00 AM


Brig. Hoshiar Singh (towards Kirti Nagar): extended till 12:10 AM

5. Line 6 (Violet Line):


Kashmere Gate: last train at 12:25 AM


Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh): extended till 11:20 PM

6. Line 7 (Pink Line):


Majlis Park & Shiv Vihar: both extended till 12:10 AM

7. Line 8 (Magenta Line):


Botanical Garden: last train at 12:45 AM


Janakpuri West: extended till 12:30 AM

8. Line 9 (Grey Line):


Dwarka: extended till 1:30 AM


Dhansa Bus Stand: extended till 1:15 AM


9. Airport Express Line (AEL):


New Delhi Station: final departure at 1:00 AM


Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector-25: last train at 12:30 AM

The DMRC has advised commuters to plan their return trips accordingly and make full use of the extended metro services. Regular schedules will resume the following morning.
