Noida’s street food game is about to level up—new food hubs coming your way!

In a significant move to enhance the city's culinary landscape, the Noida Authority is developing dedicated street food hubs equipped with modern amenities. These hubs aim to provide residents and visitors with hygienic and organized spaces to enjoy a variety of street foods.

Two such hubs are currently under construction in Sector 38A and Sector 110, with completion expected within the next 15–20 days. The Sector 38A hub, located near the Botanical Garden metro station, will feature 22 kiosks, each measuring 10x12 feet, alongside parking facilities accommodating 100 cars and 50 two-wheelers. Similarly, the Sector 110 hub, situated along the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway opposite Skymark shopping mall, will comprise six kiosks on a 45-meter-wide sector road.

Lokesh M, CEO of the Noida Authority, emphasized the initiative's goal: "We thought Noida lacks much-needed options of street food places, where families can park their car and eat quality food. We have decided to develop these places at locations where families or youth want to hang out."

The kiosks will be allotted through an auction process, with rental prices to be finalized in the upcoming board meeting at the end of May. This structured approach aims to provide legitimate business opportunities for street food vendors while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Beyond these new developments, the Noida Authority is also focusing on revitalizing existing markets. A recent inspection at Godavari Market in Sector 37 explored potential enhancements for street vendors. Additionally, the Brahmaputra Market in Sector 29 has already undergone redevelopment, setting a precedent for future projects.

Residents have welcomed these initiatives. Madhu Singh from Sector 22 remarked, "It will be great if the authority will allot shops in these organized and well-planned street food spots because the people have to depend on illegal areas for street food."
