Bharti Airtel has launched an AI-powered Fraud Detection Solution to protect its over 38 crore mobile and broadband users from online scams and cyber threats. With the rise of internet and smartphone usage, cybercrimes like phishing, scam calls, and malicious links have increased rapidly.

Airtel's advanced AI system automatically detects and blocks scam links and harmful websites across multiple digital platforms including WhatsApp, Instagram, web browsers, Telegram, emails, and SMS.

This real-time protection redirects users to a warning page whenever they try to access a flagged site, ensuring instant safety without manual intervention. The service is free and automatically enabled for all Airtel customers, requiring no additional app installation or activation steps.

Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD of Airtel, emphasized that this initiative aims to safeguard users from growing cyber threats, providing a safer digital experience. Airtel's multi-layered AI technology continuously updates to combat emerging scam tactics, reaffirming its commitment to digital security for every Indian user.
