PM Modi's 50th Visit to Varanasi Unleashes ₹3,884 Cr Mega Projects!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on Friday, April 11, for the 50th time as an MP, unveiling a slew of projects worth ₹3,884 crore. He will address a public rally at Mehdiganj and inaugurate 19 completed projects while laying the foundation for 25 more, including infrastructure upgrades, educational institutions, and rural development schemes.
Major highlights include a new bridge connecting the Ring Road to Sarnath, flyovers, underpasses, and major electricity upgrades across Varanasi division. The PM will also launch 130 rural drinking water schemes, lay foundations for 100 anganwadi centres, 356 libraries, a polytechnic, and government college.
Boosting culture and wellness, Modi will inaugurate redeveloped river ghats and distribute GI tags for iconic Varanasi products. He will also hand over Ayushman cards to seniors and bonuses to milk suppliers. This milestone visit celebrates deepening grassroots ties and a continued focus on holistic development.
