In a bold statement during his Netherlands visit, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar directly accused Pakistan’s state and military of supporting terrorism. Speaking to Dutch daily De Volkskrant, he dismissed claims that Pakistan is unaware of terror activities on its soil, saying, “Let’s not pretend.”
Citing Operation Sindoor and past attacks like the Srinagar blast that killed 26 civilians, Jaishankar said the world must not tolerate religiously tinted terrorism. He reaffirmed India's firm stance: terrorism and Kashmir are separate issues.
He declared that if terror attacks continue, Pakistan will face consequences, sending a clear message to Islamabad.
Jaishankar rejected any third-party mediation on Kashmir, stating, “The illegal occupiers must return what is rightfully ours.”
Operation Sindoor was hailed as a justified, decisive response. PM Modi also warned that India will not spare anyone who harms the nation’s daughters, calling the mission "a new form of justice".
