In a thrilling encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Punjab Kings outclassed Gujarat Titans by 11 runs in IPL 2025. Skipper Shreyas Iyer’s explosive 97 off 42 balls and Arshdeep Singh’s composed bowling turned the game in PBKS' favor.

After being invited to bat, Punjab Kings posted a formidable 243/5 in 20 overs. Iyer led from the front with a breathtaking knock, smashing five boundaries and nine towering sixes at a blistering strike rate of 230.95. Priyansh Arya (47) and Shashank Singh (44) provided crucial support, ensuring a daunting target for GT. Sai Kishore was the standout bowler for Gujarat, claiming three wickets, while Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada chipped in with one each.

Gujarat Titans responded with a strong fight, fueled by Sai Sudharsan’s impressive 74 and Shubman Gill’s steady 33. However, despite their efforts, GT fell short at 232/5 in their chase of 244. Arshdeep Singh’s disciplined bowling at the death proved decisive, as he picked up key wickets to deny Gujarat a comeback.

With this victory, Punjab Kings stamped their authority in IPL 2025, while Gujarat Titans will aim for redemption in their upcoming matches.
