Start mornings with these 5 foods to beat insulin resistance naturally

If you're struggling with insulin resistance, celebrity nutritionist Rajat Jain has a morning routine that might just change your life. Taking to Instagram, he revealed five simple foods and drinks that can stabilise blood sugar levels when consumed on an empty stomach.

Start your day with 3 to 5 soaked almonds, they are rich in magnesium and healthy fats, helping to prevent sugar spikes. Amla juice, made by blending one medium amla with water, supports pancreatic function and maintains stable sugar levels.

Cinnamon water (a twig boiled in water) can improve insulin function and fight inflammation, while sprouted moong, paired with chopped veggies, provides fiber and plant protein. Lastly, fenugreek tea (made from seeds in hot water) is known to boost insulin sensitivity.

Jain's advice? “What you eat first thing in the morning decides your blood sugar game for the whole day. Eat smart and stay balanced.”
