Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed US Vice President JD Vance and his family during their official visit to India, marking a warm and symbolic moment in Indo-US relations. At PM Modi's residence, the Vance children- Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel were seen sharing light moments with the Prime Minister, even sitting on his lap. Modi presented each child with a symbolic peacock feather, adding a personal touch to the diplomatic meeting.

Earlier, the Vance family explored Delhi's cultural landmarks, including the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, where they wore traditional Indian attire. VP Vance expressed gratitude on social media, praising India's hospitality and the beauty of the temple. The family also visited the Central Cottage Industries Emporium to experience local crafts.

During the trip, Vance will also visit Jaipur and Agra. The Ministry of External Affairs called the visit a vital step in deepening the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between the two democracies.
