Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
This foundational pose awakens the entire body and calms the mind. It teaches surrender and helps practitioners reconnect with the Earth. Begin on hands and knees, curl toes under, and lift hips towards the ceiling, forming an inverted "V" shape. Hold and breathe deeply, feeling grounded.
Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana)
Bridge Pose represents the bridging of inner peace and outer awareness. Lie on your back with bent knees and feet hip-width apart. Press feet into the floor as you lift hips towards the ceiling, opening the chest. Hold and breathe slowly, fostering a sense of openness.
Eagle Pose (Garudasana)
Eagle Pose encourages coordination, concentration, and aids the nervous system. Stand with feet hip-width apart, transfer weight to one leg, and wrap the opposite leg around it. Cross arms at the elbows, bringing palms together. Focus on a point ahead, balancing and breathing steadily.
Shoulder Stand (Sarvangasana)
Shoulder Stand is a calming pose that stimulates the thyroid and improves circulation. Lie on your back, lift legs overhead, and support your lower back with your hands. Keep the body straight, hold, and breathe deeply, promoting a sense of tranquility.
Tree Pose (Vrikshasana)
Tree Pose embodies balance and rootedness, symbolizing a tree's strength and flexibility. Stand tall, shift weight to one leg, and place the sole of the opposite foot on the inner thigh or calf. Bring palms together in front of the chest or extend arms overhead. Focus on a fixed point, breathing steadily.
