Rajneet Singh Kohli, the CEO and Executive Director of Britannia Industries, has decided to step down. He will officially leave the company on March 14, 2025. Kohli, who joined Britannia in 2022, said he is leaving to explore new career opportunities.
The company's Board of Directors accepted his resignation on March 6.
During his time as CEO, Kohli helped Britannia grow. He introduced new products, adjusted prices, and made smart business decisions.
Under his leadership, Britannia remained strong even during difficult times like rising prices and supply chain problems. The company also made good profits, especially in the third quarter.
Kohli has previously worked with big companies like Domino's India, Coca-Cola, and Asian Paints. His next move is still unknown, but people are eager to see where he goes next.
Meanwhile, Britannia is at an important stage, as it continues to grow in India and other countries. Finding a good new CEO will be crucial for its future.
After the news of Kohli's resignation, Britannia's stock price dropped slightly by 0.58% to ₹4,692.85 per share. Investors and experts are now watching closely to see who will take his place.
The company’s next leadership decision will play a big role in shaping its future.
