Trump emphasized that Tehran must abandon its nuclear ambitions or risk a military strike, stating unequivocally, “They cannot have a nuclear weapon.” His comments came ahead of a second round of U.S.-Iran talks scheduled in Oman, following what officials described as a “constructive” first meeting.

While Iran insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, experts suggest it's enriching enough uranium to build a bomb every month. Trump criticized Iran's approach to diplomacy, saying, “They want to deal with us, but they don’t know how.” He also hinted at a possible joint military strike with Israel if negotiations fail.

Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed military preparedness, saying the U.S. is ready to “go deep and go big” should diplomacy collapse.
