Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra, has confirmed that the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be completed by June 2025, except for the ramparts and shoe racks, which are expected to finish by September 2025. Mishra, speaking to the media, highlighted that the work on the ramparts and shoe racks will continue after June, with about 8.4 lakh cubic feet of stone to be laid for the rampart, of which 3 lakh cubic feet remains. He is optimistic that the one-kilometer-long rampart, featuring six temples, will be completed by June 2025.
Mishra also mentioned that the construction of the temple's rising tower is one of the biggest challenges, as it is being examined for aviation safety. Regarding the temple's museum, he revealed that 85 murals would be installed, with work already underway on 60, and 21 murals, including six of Lord Ram, already completed. Additionally, new titanium lattices are being created for the Parikrama on the ground, first, and second floors.
Further details include the ongoing digging for the pool in the temple complex, and the final inspection of statues in Jaipur, which will take place by early January. Mishra also noted that the four gates of the temple complex, located on the south and north sides, are being proposed to be named after prominent saints from Ayodhya. The grand celebration marking the first anniversary of the 'Prana Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla is scheduled for January 11, 2025.
