The education system in 2025 is undergoing a major transformation, with CUET (Common University Entrance Test) at the centre of these changes. CUET is redefining the admission process, making it more streamlined, technology-driven, and standardized across universities.
One of the biggest improvements is the removal of excessive paperwork. Students no longer need to upload multiple certificates during applications. Instead, a simple category selection process has been introduced, making admissions smoother and reducing unnecessary steps.
Reservation policies have also been updated, directly impacting CUET admissions. Students must stay informed about these changes to understand how they affect their chances of securing a seat in their preferred universities. Additionally, eligibility criteria for different courses have been revised, making it crucial for students to check new requirements before applying.
The biggest shift, however, is in the examination process itself. CUET is moving away from traditional pen-and-paper exams and adopting Computer-Based Testing (CBT). This means students must adapt to digital assessment methods, as familiar handwritten exam patterns are no longer the norm.
These changes aim to make CUET a more transparent and efficient entrance process. While they require adjustments, they ultimately create a level playing field and a more structured admission system.
