Following intense cross-border hostilities, India's armed forces announced crippling damage inflicted on Pakistan's military infrastructure before the ceasefire took effect on May 10. Under Operation Sindoor, Indian forces executed precision strikes targeting terror headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Colonel Sofiya Qureshi confirmed Pakistan's key airfields in Skardu, Jacobabad, Sargodha, and Bholi, along with radar and air defence systems, were neutralised. Command and control centres, logistics hubs, and drone launch pads were also decimated, severely crippling Pakistan's offensive and defensive capabilities.
Wing Commander Vyomkya Singh refuted allegations of Indian attacks on religious sites, reiterating India's commitment to secular values and precision-targeting of terror infrastructure only. The ceasefire was agreed upon after US-mediated talks, halting all military actions across land, air, and sea. India maintains high alert and readiness, vowing strong responses to any future aggression while upholding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
