Vaibhav Suryavanshi, just 14, took the IPL 2025 by storm with a breathtaking 101 off 38 balls - the youngest ever to hit an IPL century. The teen sensation became an overnight star after his explosive knock helped Rajasthan Royals chase down 210 against Punjab Kings.
But what followed? A whirlwind of attention. Over 500 missed calls poured in. What did Vaibhav do? Switched off his phone for 4 days straight! "Too many people started calling. I don't like that. I prefer being with my people - close friends and family," he said in a candid chat with head coach Rahul Dravid.
Vaibhav revealed his mantra: stay in the zone and play for the team. "There's no such thing as a 'natural' game. It’s about playing according to the situation," he explained.
The journey doesn’t end here. Vaibhav now gears up for India U-19’s England tour - 5 ODIs and 3 four-day games await. Meanwhile, Dravid warned, “Next IPL won’t be easy - the pressure will be real.”
