As Bokaro tightens its 'No Helmet, No Petrol' rule, locals are coming up with some creative workarounds! A popular content creator, @gopalll_07, shared a hilarious video on Instagram about his recent trip to a petrol station in Jharkhand, showcasing an unusual twist to the rule.
In the video, titled "India is not for beginners," the biker approaches the petrol pump and instead of being refused service for not wearing a helmet, the attendant hands him a helmet tied with a string, letting him fill up his tank. The creator jokes, "In our city, wearing a helmet is a must! Without one, you can't roam around or even get fuel."
Netizens had mixed reactions. Some found it hilarious, saying it's just a smart way for petrol pumps to avoid losses. One user wrote, "Petrol pump attendants: We won't lose money, no matter what!" Others laughed and called it the true "Customer is God" moment. But not everyone was amused, many called for action against the creator, blasting him for ignoring safety.
This comes as Uttar Pradesh takes a stricter approach with its own 'No Helmet, No Fuel' policy, aiming to cut down on two-wheeler accidents. The Transport Commissioner has made it clear that fuel stations must deny service to riders without helmets, putting road safety at the forefront.
