Kamra recently posted an open letter urging BookMyShow to clarify its position and grant him access to his audience data. He emphasized that while the platform can make its own decisions, denying artists the option to list shows independently restricts their access to fans.

Responding, BookMyShow released a statement denying any bias, stating that show listings are determined by venues or organizers, not the platform itself. They also clarified that content choices lie with performers and do not represent the company's views. The issue arose after Kamra sang a parody of Bholi Si Surat allegedly targeting Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, sparking FIRs and vandalism by Yuva Sena at the Habitat venue.
