Musk’s AI Spying on Federal Workers for Anti-Trump Views!

Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is reportedly deploying artificial intelligence to monitor at least one federal agency for anti-Trump sentiment, according to a Reuters report citing insiders. The AI-driven surveillance, aimed at identifying employees perceived as disloyal to President Trump's administration, is said to be active within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a long-time target of Trump.

Sources claim AI tools are scanning Microsoft Teams chats and other digital communications. Additionally, DOGE staff are allegedly using Signal, a secure messaging app with disappearing messages, raising alarms over potential violations of federal record-keeping laws. The Grok AI chatbot, developed by Musk's company X, is also being “heavily” used, though its exact role remains unclear.

Experts have voiced concerns over transparency, data security, and the political weaponization of AI. While the EPA confirmed it's exploring AI for operational efficiency, it denied using it for personnel decisions in coordination with DOGE.
