Office Syndrome: Why your chair might send you to Surgery!

In today's fast-paced work culture, long sitting hours, poor posture, and constant stress are silently damaging our spine.

According to Dr. Vineesh Mathur from Medanta, nearly 55% of working professionals report neck pain, while 64% suffer from lower back issues annually. The culprit? Slouching at desks, misaligned monitors, and a lack of movement throughout the day.

Chronic stress also worsens the issue - tightening back muscles and increasing unhealthy habits like smoking or inactivity. Especially after 30, your chances of spinal pain rise significantly.

But here's the good news: Small lifestyle changes can save your spine. Sit straight, align your screen at eye level, invest in a good chair, and take frequent stretch breaks.

Employers must also step up by promoting wellness and ergonomic practices.

Because ignoring your spine today could cost you your productivity - and health - tomorrow.
