In a rare and candid admission, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that Indian ballistic missiles struck multiple Pakistani airbases during Operation Sindoor. Addressing a public event in Islamabad, Sharif revealed that Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir called him at 2:30 am on May 10, alerting him of the strike on Nur Khan Airbase and other military sites.
This public acknowledgment sharply contrasts Pakistan's traditional denials of Indian military actions. Satellite imagery from Maxar Technologies has since revealed visible damage to four PAF bases: Nur Khan, Mushaf, Bholari, and Shahbaz.
India's bold move, described as precise and calculated, has been lauded domestically, with BJP and Opposition leaders alike reacting to Sharif's statement. With tensions escalating, this revelation underscores the unprecedented nature of the covert Indian strike deep within Pakistani territory.
