In a bold diplomatic move, the Indian government is assembling a 40 member multi-party parliamentary delegation to spotlight Pakistan's alleged support for terrorism globally. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, known for his international stature, is expected to play a key role.
The delegation split into regional teams will visit over 30 countries starting May 22, carrying evidence of Pakistan's involvement in recent terror activities, including the Pahalgam attack. Tharoor's participation has been hailed by the Kerala Congress, which took a jab at the BJP's foreign policy credibility, stating India needs “a voice that commands respect.”
Other notable names include Manish Tewari, Supriya Sule, Kanimozhi, Anurag Thakur, and Asaduddin Owaisi. The Ministry of External Affairs is compiling evidence ahead of the mission, dubbed a diplomatic counterstrike after Operation Sindoor.
The campaign marks one of India’s most coordinated global offensives against cross-border terrorism narratives.
